This year here in America we made history when we voted for President. We elected the first black President and we also, for the first time in history, elected a President based solely on the color of the candidates skin.
I know what most people will say "No that's not true," but it is. None of Obama's supporters could tell me how he stood on any of the issues. Going around saying you stand for "change" doesn't tell me anything. The only two things he did say (besides "Change!!") is that he'll (a) raise oil companies taxes (which would supposedly lower gas prices despite the fact that this makes no logical sense since the oil companies will just pass the increase in taxes on the comsumer) and (b) he'll raise taxes on people making $200,000 or more a year but cut taxes for people earning less (a promise Bill Clinton made and didn't keep).
I make you one promise, I'll keep an open mind and wait and see what Obama does. If his policies work (and it can be proven it's because of his policies not despite them) and the ecomomy and the country are better off in four years I'll vote for his reelection. If not, I'll vote Republican again.
